The Dive Safari Company offers reliable Car and Truck Rental with our partners in Thailand. Great pride is taken in the fleet, which is regularly serviced to ensure comfort and safety of customers who can be assured that their late model vehicle will be presented clean after a 20 point safety check before each rental. Passenger cars are normally on the fleet in Thailand for no longer than two years or 60,000 kilometers (whichever comes first), and include the latest products from Honda, Toyota and Suzuki. The 4WD vehicles are very popular in Thailand and reasonable priced – it’s a lot of fun to drive. All cars of the rental car fleet are air-conditioned and fitted with AM/FM radio cassettes and power steering.

Phuket & Khao Lak in South Thailand.
Our Rental Station is located at the Phuket International Airport.
Delivery
Cars will be delivered to your hotel in Phuket free of charge.
Delivery to Khao Lak will be also free of charge if the car is rented for at least 2 days.
For a 1-day-only car rental delivery to Khao Lak an extra fee of 7 US$ will be collected.
Insurance Cover
Loss damage waiver – in case of damage or loss of the rental car a maximum of 130 US$ will be charged.
Conditions
Minimum driver age in Thailand is 21 years
Customer must have a credit card
A rental day is 24 hours – extra hours are charged at 1/3 of the daily rates
Rates include unlimited kilometers/miles, Thailand government tax and airport surcharges and third party liability insurance

Quality touring maps of Thailand and street directories are available free of charge to customers at the time of rental.
We offer a 24 hour emergency assistance service on telephone number 01 239 4992. This number will ensure appropriate assistance is arranged by the quickest means to meet the customers' requirements. Please note that puncture repairs, lock outs, and out of fuel calls will be charged to the renter at the time of service.
Baby seats suitable for children six months to three years are available at all locations in Thailand, but they should be pre-booked at the time of reservation. The seats will be charged at 3 US$ per day to a maximum of 13 US$ per rental. Baby capsules for infants under six months are not available.
Thais drive on the left hand side of the road. The maximum speed limit in cities and towns is 60 km/h (35 mph) and varies between 90 and 100 km/h (52-60 mph) on expressways and country roads. Police regularly check motorists speed. Wearing of seat belts is compulsory and drink driving laws apply. All insurance is invalid if drivers exceed the legal alcohol limit.
All drivers must hold a current, non-probationary license. The license may either be Thai, or from a renter's country of residence (with an English translation), or an international drivers permit. Licenses (and a valid passport) must be carried at all times when driving.
No charge is made for additional drivers, however, they must be nominated and have their names entered on the rental agreement at the time of rental.
Thailand requires drivers to be at least 21 years of age, and there are no age surcharges or maximum age limitations.
